Are You Using a non-PC Browser?

I don’t have access to a Mac and I’m certain that not everyone that uses NAVT is using a PC. If you are using a Mac (or any other OS for that matter) and you have installed NAVT please add a comment letting me know which browser/version NAVT works with (or doesn’t work with) so I can add the information to the NAVT compatibility list.

I know that NAVT does not work with MAC/Safari.

Hi, thanks so much for creating this plugin, it’s wonderful! I’m using it on a Mac with Firefox 3 Beta 5 and it works fine.

Great plugin, liked the old interface better though. I’ve used the plugin on Ubuntu in Firefox and Swiftweasel without any issues.

Hi, thank you for the great plugin, it’s so necessary for me! Later, I’ll maybe try a french translation of it. I’m working with a Mac/OS X Leopard and I’m using it with Firefox 2, works great.

I’m using a MAC with Leopard and Firefox. I think the plug-in works fine. At first I thought there was a bug because my NAVT-groups were disappearing, but I think it’s just that if I unlock the groups they disappear from my side bar.

I’ve had not problems using the latest version of Safari (3.1.1).

hello, NAVT is the best plugin i’ve ever seen for wordpress…
    thank you!
I’m working with a mac /leopard and there is no problems with Firefox, but i’ve tried with Safari and OPERA, and the plugin does not work. specially with Opera :)

@Valérie ( may be we could colaborate for the french translation ?)

Fantastic job on this. I found it very useful. I’m using it with Wordpress 2.51 on a Mac with Firefox 3. I’ve run into 2 issues so far.

    1. When editing an existing list divider that is defined as a Plain Text Divider, the Main Item Alias does not appear and is deleted entirely if the diver is then saved.

    2. The restore does not work (under WP 2.51 at least). I receive no error but data gets populated under users and categories and incomplete lists are restored.

All in all though, this helped me out a lot and I will recommend it to others.

I’m pretty sure that the Windows version of Safari is equivalent to the Mac version… try that?

It seems it does not work on MAC. I does not even work to open a new group (which you need to do to get started). I tried Safari and Firefox 3 and Camino 1.5.2 on Mac.

    This the version I downloaded:
    wordpress-navigation-list-plugin-navt.1.0.26

Great plugin (I have been using an old version before), but needs some serious compatibility patches.

Works with Firefox 3.0.3 with a mac.

Safari 3.2 certainly displays the Navigation Group, Backup-Restore, Change Log and assets tables – i’ve not pushed it further since using both Safari-3.2/mac and Firefox-3.04/mac, it screams that it needs jQuery v1.2.3 or later (its using v1.2.1), needs bringing up to date with WordPress 2.6.3, 2.6.5 in the field and 2.7 on the Horizon.

Seems to work with Mac and Safari 3.2 here…

Now I’m confused – please clear this up:

When you say it does not work with Safari/Mac (older Safari’s at least), you are only referring to to NAVT’s admin area – YES? is this what you mean????

But the results, display, on the public side still works with Safari (even the older versions of Safari) – YES????

Im on a mac running 10.5.6 and I cant get the admin area for NAVT to respond at all with any browsers. As Dave said above, there is a conflict with jquery versions. I was able at first to get a nav grouping in there and the site itself pulled up fine for all users. The problem came when I wanted to change the grouping and all of a sudden it seemed that no AJAX was taking place and no events had been bound to the elements.

Heres hoping there are plans to get a current jquery on this thing…..

I am running on a Mac PowerBook G4 with a recent install of WP 2.7. JS is enabled. I just downloaded and installed NAVT and activated it. I get to the Nav Mngmt page and it appears like your screenshots. However, when I enter a new Group Name and click the “Create” button, nothing happens. I have tried in Safari 3.2.1 (the newest version I think) and I also tried in Firefox 3.05 with the same result (non-result, to be accurate). Any suggestions? Thanks.
